Ms. Aepli's Class

I’d like to welcome you to 3rd grade. This will be a very exciting and challenging year for your child. On this page, and the 3rd grade page, you will find an overview of this very important year in their school career. My goal is to encourage your children to be active learners and to prepare them for a successful academic future. My hope is to foster a love of learning in each child as well as to encourage them to become lifelong learners.

Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.  If you send me an email, I will do my best to reply by the end of the day.  If it is urgent, please call the office so they can relay the message to me.

I am looking forward to a great year!

Brenda Aepli

This will be my eleventh year at Green Valley, and my twenty-third year of teaching.  I’ve taught first, second and third grades in Arizona, Louisiana, Germany, Singapore, and California.  I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Education and Master’s Degree in Counseling from Arizona State University. I enjoy working with children and watching them grow and learn.  My goal is to inspire them to become inquisitive, lifelong learners.

I was born and raised in Louisiana. My husband and I have been married thirty-five years and we have two sons, ages 27 and 17.  Besides teaching, I also enjoy hiking, traveling, and reading.  I feel very fortunate to be able to share my passion for learning with the students at Green Valley, and am very grateful that I work with such dedicated teachers and parents.
