Ms. Ransdell's Class

Welcome to 4th grade. First of all, I am so excited to be here with your children!  I have been so looking forward to starting this school year, and I am certain we will all have a successful year of learning, laughing, and enjoying one another in our little classroom community.

I will do a lot of communicating with you through email.  Please look for emails from me in coming weeks and months!  I have found that it’s the best way for me to stay in close touch with parents regarding all things related to our class. However this page will be an extra resource for you if you are looking for something in particular. (Also be sure to check out the 4th grade page).

Thank you so much for sharing your children with me!

I am so happy to be teaching fourth grade at Green Valley! I am gratified to say that I love my career today just as much as I did when I walked into my very first teaching job. I’ve been teaching for about 20 years, and during those years I’ve taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade.  Teaching is one of my greatest passions, and I am delighted to share that passion with my students. I love fabulous read alouds, opening a new book for the first time, and having a great discussion with my students about a story. I also love engaging math games, out of the box thinkers, and a warm classroom community. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy cooking, gardening, and spending time with my 2 lovely daughters, my husband, and my energetic yellow lab. Here’s to a great school year!
