The Learning Fund

The Learning Fund is a non-profit organization that raises funds to bridge the gap between the public funding that our school receives and the true cost of the full educational experience we want for our students at Green Valley Elementary.  

The Learning Fund has a goal of 100% family participation in our back to school donation drive held at Registration each school year. The more we can increase these direct donations, the less dependent we are on additional fundraising including an annual auction. 

Last year we were proud to recognize more than 200 families who contributed to our Direct Donation Fund. Thanks to their valuable dollars, and other donations that we received throughout the school year, we were able to fund several critical programs and services.

This year, based on parent feedback, the Learning Fund has shifted its focus so that it will only provide financial assistance for programs that benefit the entire student body. 

The projected budget for the 2019-2020 school year is $318,425 and the requested donation per student is $650.

Please join us in making Green Valley the best elementary school it can be. You can attend the meetings, join the board, volunteer in our events, of course, DONATE!
