    Come and see our talented cast of 4th and 5th grade students perform in this year's Green Valley Theatre Company (GVTC) production of...

    This year's production has been entirely written and produced by our very own Mrs. Alexander, and is being directed by Mrs. Alexander, Mrs. Houghton, Mrs.Ouye and Mrs.Robinson.  

    This long-standing Green Valley tradition is truly a wonderful night of family entertainment and shouldn't be missed. The evening performance for the whole school community will be on Friday, February 28th at 7pm in the MPR.

    Remember to stay for the final act so you can see your favorite teachers perform too!

    Science Fun Night Coming!

    Every great scientific discovery started with a question. How does this work? Why does this happen? What would happen if…? Now, students have an opportunity to make their own scientific discovery by asking and answering a question of their own.

    Join Us on April 2 2020 in the MPR and various locations weather permitting from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.  Please have each student fill out the Online Entry Form Due by March 6th!

    Spelling Bee Results:

    beeA big congratulations go out to all participants in Green Valley's
    2020 Schoolwide Spelling Bee, judged by Mrs. Grim and Mrs. Erickson,our speech specialist.  All of our students displayed very impressive
    spelling knowledge!

    This year our top three spellers were:
        1st:  Adam Weiss Bonagofsky (Maher)
        2nd: Connor Charlton (Ransdell)
        3rd:  Daniel Weiss Bonagofsky (Wettig).

    Crayola Marker Recycle Prog-Update

    GV community has so far recycled 25 pounds of markers through the Crayola Colorcycle Program.  Great job! And, keep those markers coming!! Bins will be located in classrooms and front office throughout the year.  For more information visit Crayola ColorCycleIt!

    Green Valley Elementary School was built in 1952, and serves students living in the northeast section of Danville. The neighborhood consists of a variety of residential areas that include single family homes and a few condominiums. Attendance is determined and established by school district boundaries.
