    Movie Night! Friday, April 26th from 5:30pm-7:30pm

    Yay! Bring your little ones to enjoy a great movie with their friends. The suggested donation is $10 per person and includes pizza, water, popcorn and candy. Supervision will be provided by volunteer parents and PTA members.  Reserve your spots before April 23rd. Look for the Movie Night flyers and permission slips in Monday envelopes for more information. Volunteers needed! Sign up here.

    Battle of the Books 2019

    On Wednesday April 17 we had Green Valley’s very first Battle of the Books competition! There were 23 students, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students who participated and read 20 books in the last 5 months.

    Congrats to ALL these amazing students!

    3rd Grade winners: The Beluga Bookworms with Anisha Joshi, Annalise Huang, Hailey Law, Grace Fan and Van Rich

    4th and 5th Grade winners: The Nerds with Zoe Marotti Voellm, Ashley Charleton and Ariane Maag won the 4th and 5th grade battle.

    The 2019-2020 TRAFFIX bus pass sales schedule has changed!

    TRAFFIX bus passes for the 2019-2020 school year will now go on sale on the TRAFFIX website as follows: bus

    • Routes MV19 and MV19A - Monday, April 22nd (10:00am). You must live within the County Service Area Transportation - District 1 (CSA-T1) to purchase a pass for these routes during this time.
    • Routes MV10, MV18, MV20 & MV25 - Thursday, April 25th (10:00am)

    ALL OTHER ROUTES - Monday, April 29th (10:00am)

    Green Valley Elementary School was built in 1952, and serves students living in the northeast section of Danville. The neighborhood consists of a variety of residential areas that include single family homes and a few condominiums. Attendance is determined and established by school district boundaries.
